Testimony

My name is Jayamma. I was born in a Hindu family I was a strong idol worshipper. I came to know the Lord this year and was baptized in August. I have been growing in the Lord and stopped all rituals and superstitions. The Lord gave me great joy and peace in my heart and has blessed our farming. Satan is not happy with our family and has been hindering me and attacking with fear. Last week I was in the fields picking up the piles after the harvest. I stepped on a big cobra snake. It raised its hood and rose on me. I shouted Jesus, Jesus help me! Help me!! And I said in the name of Jesus go away and fell down unconscious. No one was there around me and I was alone. To my surprise when I woke up the snake left me with out biting me. If this poisonous snake would have bitten me I would have been killed. Praise God the Lord heard my prayer and helped me. Today while I was removing the old wooden logs out side the house a big scorpion has bitten my thumb. It was painful. I held my thumb tightly and rushed to the Vision church near by and prayed to God with great faith. With in few minuets the poison stayed there and didn’t spread. I was amazed to see how the Lord has been saving my life. I believe I am his precious child. The Lord reminded me that no instrument that has been devised against you would prosper.
Praise God!!!! Though the enemy might attack me I always remember the word “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust." 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence. Ps: 91:2
